ABLE accounts are tax-advantaged savings accounts for certain individuals with disabilities and their families. News, Research, Data & Resources:
- Joint Committee on Taxation, “Description of the Chairman’s Modification to the Provisions of the “Enhancing American Retirement Now (EARN) Act.” Editor’s Take: New legislation titled in short the “Earn Act” and also referenced as SECURE 2.0 is currently on course to include the ABLE Age Adjustment Act which would increase the age of onset for eligibility to open an ABLE account from 26 to 46 years old. ISS Market Intelligence will continue to track and report on the progress of this legislation.
