Paul Curley of Strategic Insight to present at FinCon 2019 on “ABLE Accounts: Get the Latest about the Newest 529 Plan.”

I am excited to announce that I will present at FinCon 2019 in Washington, DC, in September on a session titled, “ABLE Accounts: Get the Latest about the Newest 529 Plan.”

The intermediate level session in the Quick Money Talks track has a session description of: “Psst! You have a blind spot! Today, one in every forty children is diagnosed with autism. It’s the disability with the highest rate of diagnosis increase, but it’s far from the only one. Odds are, you have clients or readers who are directly affected by disability, and you’re not addressing their needs. In this presentation we will hear from Paul Curley (the founder of the 529 Conference), Brynne Conroy (author of The Feminist Financial Handbook), and Sarah Pennington (Brand Manager of ABLEnow) as they discuss one of the latest investment products on the market: ABLE accounts. Come learn about the obstacles those with disabilities face within the current financial system, and how ABLE accounts are the first step towards easing those hurdles for your clients and readers.” The goal of the session will be to educate writers, financial professionals and influencers on ABLE accounts so that the disabled community can be better served.
